Hello, I’m Isabella Littleford, a veteran in the fashion space with a lifelong love for uncovering the magic where luxury meets everyday style.
Backed by 10+ years in style and design, I’ve had the amazing opportunity of honing my craft in Paris, the capital of couture and working alongside top-tier global designers. That experience taught me to recognize high-caliber craftsmanship, fresh concepts, and enduring style. I’ve always been captivated by Golden Goose sneakers, a brand that effortlessly marries a vintage-inspired edge with luxury-level build quality. Here, I’ll walk you through my thoughts on different Superstar models, exploring their design language, wearability, and wardrobe potential.
Whether you obsess over every new drop or just want a reliable fashion-forward pair, I’m here to offer you expert insights with knowledge gained through a decade in the field. Let’s explore what makes these sneakers a standout choice!
I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also had them long enough that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.
So I’m answering a bunch of common questions, as well as where to score deals on them, in the sections below! Also, if you’re interested in more try-ons and reviews, have a scroll through my Abercrombie vs. Agolde jean shorts review, Goyard tote bag breakdown, and review of my Dudley Stephens fleece!
Cettire had them on sale and I clicked “buy” right away!
I ordered useful link for Golden Goose them on the 28th of April and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was really quick .
I picked them up for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.
These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $410 and $1,700, depending on how embellished they are.
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up a size
They’re extremely comfortable, and only took a few hours to break in..
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the shine on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is smarter. They’re worth the investment, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a neutral version would also look great.
Scroll down for my go-to sources. I had a perfect experience with GGoose.org, so I always recommend starting there.
I discovered mine on sale via Cettire and purchased them that way!
I ordered them on April 28th and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast .
When I grabbed my pair in spring, I paid around $385, but their full price is over $500.
You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and seventeen hundred depending on their level of detail.
I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair. Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d recommend sizing up.
They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since my feet get sweaty. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in fake leather. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just adjust easily.
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
